If you want to come to Ocean City NJ for the weekend, or just get a better idea of how long your trip to your new holiday home will be, below are some transportation estimates for getting to Ocean City NJ.
If you are coming from New York or North Jersey, take the New Jersey Turnpike to Garden State Parkway and drive to Ocean City exits. From there, it’s not more than a mile to Ocean City.
Driving in from Philadelphia? Take the Walt Whitman or Ben Franklin Bridge to North/South Freeway and then follow this to the Atlantic City Expressway all the way onto the Garden State Parkway. Turn off on Ocean City exits and Ocean City is just a mile away.
In case you are coming in from Atlantic City, follow these instructions: Take Ocean Drive south to Longport, follow signs to Longport Inlet Bridge, cross bridge to Ocean City.
When you are here, you’ll notice that most people who live in Ocean City drive to work. But this is still a very walking and bicycle friendly city compared to many other places. So, bring your car – but you may end up walking and biking most places, especially in the summer time.
